- If water stations are present on both sides of the road, the left side is usually less crowded because most people are right handed.

- You might want to slow a bit as you approach the station so you’re not breathing heavily while you’re trying to drink.
- If you want to run through a water station, pinch the top of the cup so it forms a spout. That will allow you to dump the whole cup into your mouth without spilling any.
